“Dadirri” is the Australian Aboriginal practice of quiet observation and inner awareness with the specific aim to come to a deeper understanding of the beauty of Nature through a meditative reflection and contemplation of the Natural world.
Dirk Romeyn, Peter H. Marshall and Tim Miller are three artists who work in the environment of the Blue Mountains World Heritage National Park. During December the artists are presenting a collection of works depicting their personal experiences of ‘Dadirri’ at the Blue Mountains Heritage Centre Gallery.
The aim of the exhibition is to display visually, the spirit of inquiry and responsiveness to the environment (Dadirri), through the act of painting and drawing.
